Fuel Calculation ISO Correction
ONBOARD CALCULATOR
Marine Fuel Performance Calculation System
System Purpose
The CABERIS Operational Onboard Estimation System is designed for practical marine engineering fuel performance monitoring and operational efficiency analysis for Main Engines and Diesel Generator Engines.
The system provides quick-access onboard estimation inspired by generalized ISO 3046-1 and ISO 15550 reference concepts for monitoring Lower Calorific Value, Specific Fuel Oil Consumption, ISO corrected SFOC, and Specific Cylinder Oil Consumption where applicable.
Main Engine Panel
Includes LCV, Actual SFOC, ISO corrected SFOC, SCOC, fuel density conversion, optional torque calculation, RPM reference, and editable correction factors for onboard operational monitoring.
Diesel Generator Panel
Includes LCV, generator load based SFOC, ISO corrected SFOC, optional generator efficiency, fuel density conversion, and operational fuel performance monitoring.
Editable Standards
Default operational values are automatically inserted while allowing engineers to override ISO factors, LCV references, density values, warning limits, and manual correction factors.
Operational Reference Logic
The calculation framework uses fuel consumed in cubic meters, running hours, fuel density, and engine power to estimate operational Specific Fuel Oil Consumption values. Optional correction methods include Lower Calorific Value normalization and operational ISO-inspired correction factors.
The onboard calculator is intended for practical marine engineering estimation, fuel performance trending, daily operational checks, and quick reference support for vessel engineers.
